This product offers an extremely low salt index that allows placement flexibility. It carries two forms of phosphate: Orthophosphate for immediate plant uptake and a long-chain polymer phosphate that provides superior usability because of its organic configuration well into the growing season. A true compound, not a suspension and no waste or spent acids are used as raw materials. It is most effective when banded at planting and remains usable well into the crop’s development.
Salt index is 8, compared to 85 for 18-46-0; 55-60 for 10-34-0; and 35-40 for 9-18-9 and 6-24-6. 9-24-3 can be safely applied to corn seeds and drilled soybeans as well as a foliar spray.
